Missionaries

We are proud to support the following missionaries:

  • Pastor Rod Brown (John 17:23 Project, Greater San Diego Area)
  • Pastor Carlos Montoya (La Roca Ministries, Tijuana)
Pastor Rod Brown began his ministrerial career in his late teens, quickly earning the respect and trust of pastors around the US as a traveling evengelist. Rod answered the call to serve as senior pastor of his home church in Spring Valley in 1996, after several years on the road. An avid reader, Rod is known for his keen insights into the Bible and his quick wit. A father to four, Rod makes his family a priority and demonstrates what a true father's love ought to be.
In 2009, Pastor Rod embarked on a new journey in ministry to help unite the Body of Christ by sharing resources, the John 17.23 project. Spring Valley Community Church is proud to be the ordaining body that backs Pastor Rodney Brown.
Pastor Carlos Montoya is the founder and head of La Roca Ministries, which serves the homeless, prosttutes, and street people in the most hardened parts of Tijuana, Mexico. Carlos and his wife Rossy are true disiples who make the great commission their daily calling.

Spring Valley Community Church is proud to be supporting Pastor Carlos and Rossy, and serves as the ordaining body for Pastor Carlos.
