How doe s a church that works with so many kids ensure that children are safe?
We looked at the best practices for Kid Safe programs and have implemented them at SVCC. 
Here are some of our policies:

• Every children's worker must submit background check application ( Volunteer Application )
• Everyone who works with children must be fingerprinted
• Every classroom door has an unobstructed window or must remain open during activities
• During services, our ushers observe classes several times to make sure children are safe
• No children's worker may ever be alone with a child or children
• When two adults are working with children, they may not be related
• Choking hazards are not allowed in our nursery
